A renowned writer and social historian recently gave the clearest explanation of why this is happening. First, some accept the “Guilt” language and “PC Rules” in fear of being labeled “Racist”. Second, and most important, “minorities” now have total “Freedom”, but some do not know how to live with personal freedom without creating a “victim drama” based on widespread politically driven class-distinction standards, driven by events of decades and centuries ago. Part of the difficulty of freedom is resolving one’s life challenges without Government assistance. Real racists could care less about being labeled as Leftist Fascists [True Nazi’s]. We are comfortable believing political speeches and anything written or broadcast, without researching the truth of the matter.
Racial or social prejudice is not a moral stance of disliking someone. Prejudice is true hate directed at anyone who seems different because of appearance, religion or social status. The really sad thing is that most people do not know why they are in the mindset to believe they are superior to other humans. The answer is because they were taught to be. I was indoctrinated with this hate, by illiterate parents and preachers, as a child but changed my mindset in adult life to a dislike of an individual’s actions rather than their “status”. [This personal “Light” came on after about 3 months in a combat zone.]
Religious leaders and politicians are most responsible for spreading and maintaining the prejudices of our nation and world. Even those who are the objects of these social and religious views have been taught to accept that they are somehow the eternal victims and must live with this perception. The teachings by religious leaders of; “Jesus loves you” and “God has put this burden on your life to challenge your Faith” are mental perceptions to keep groups of people in a fairy-tale state of mind that they deserve to be an underclass.
If you were not born into riches and proper social status, you are a victim, but if you “Get Jesus” you can love being a victim. If you are not born a victim, Christianity teaches you are still a worthless, undeserving wretch at birth; until you “Get Jesus” in your life and can love being in an upper social class.
Unfortunately, for Americans with dark and light skin, preachers and politicians have convinced them they cannot achieve success without the assistance and intervention of the ruling class. Like the Vatican over the millennia, with each generation being taught rules to live by, these Americans have perpetuated their mindset of needing assistance to think.
Have you ever thought how conversations would proceed if in America people were not described as hyphenated Americans? Hyphenating anyone’s heritage is just another method of dividing a nation into class warfare. Heritage is important as it provides a positive basis for anyone’s history. It should not become a social weapon.
If you can reach a mindset of your own importance, a “me first” attitude that one must educate themselves, realize that if anyone has a problem with some aspect of your being that it is not your problem, it is their problem. Any individual’s personal problems only become your problems if you allow it to happen. In other words, “screw them” as you do not need the drama. Set your own goals and find a way to achieve them. And last, why argue with a fool? You will never change their mind-set; so, are they important enough to spend your life trying?
Freemasonry has guided most of my adult life. If followed it is a "way of Life" for one to gage their actions and inter-actions with others. It only requires that one declares a belief in a Supreme Being, ie. "God".
